Quality Standards: n-butane content above 99% Property and Purpose:N-butane can be directly used as fuel or solvent, refrigerant and raw materials of organic synthesis. Furthermore, butane can be used as motor fuel mixture to control the volatile components, or as de-asphalting agent in heavy oil refining, wax precipitating agent in oil wells, spillover agent for secondary oil recovery, resin foaming agent, refrigerant in converting sea water to fresh water, olefin diluent, polymerization solvent and so on. Mixed with propane to produce LPG extensively used for household heating, cooking and industrial heating; and also extensively used as raw materials of organic synthesis. For example, producing butene and butadiene by dehydrogenation; producing isobutane by isomerization; producing maleic anhydride, acetic acid, acetaldehyde, etc. by catalytic oxidation; producing halogenated butane by halogenation; producing nitrobutane by nitrification; producing carbon disulfide by catalysis at high temperature; and producing hydrogen by steam reforming. Used for organic synthesis and production of ethylene, used as a raw material of synthetic rubber and high octane liquid fuel, or as domestic fuel, solvent, refrigerant, or used for instrument calibration.
